hello world: meet zy
who even am i.
after 2 whole blogposts i have realized that i never even really introduced myself and you maybe have NO idea who i am if you randomly found this. probably should have done this first but whatever lol.
introduction
so hi, im zy. im a programmer that isnt really popular. im from germany and ive been coding since around 2020. im a really secretive person, you may never find out much about me. you can find info about me on my website. its on the homepage.
i spend most of my time either coding random projects, customizing my linux setup, or hanging out in discord servers with other tech enthusiasts. sometimes i even go outside (shocking, i know).
why did i start coding
coding, linux and minimalism are my biggest passions. im really happy that i have chosen this because most of my friends that really mean alot to me i found because of coding!
i got into coding completely by accident. i was just a little kid that stole the laptop from my dad and suddenly found myself learning actual programming languages. one thing led to another and here we are years later, still obsessed with making computers do exactly what i want.
my setup
i like linux alot, i currently use arch linux with hyprland. btw did i mention i use arch? (sorry had to do it).
my setup is super minimal - just the essentials. i hate bloat and unnecessary stuff, which is probably why i gravitated toward arch in the first place.
random facts
- i rarely capitalize anything because shift keys are overrated
- i think mechanical keyboards are worth every cent
- i probably spend too much time ricing my desktop
